Bio"I am who I am.
I am not you, I am not the person you thought you once knew. I am not your friend, your lover, your guardian, your child. I am not human, I am not an animal. I'm not alive, nor am I deceased. I wasn't born into privilege, I am not a genius. I am not who you want me to be, and I'll never be quite what I was meant to be. I will break promises, I will hurt you and those you hold dear.
I will break you until you cry, and I will make you wish I weren't in existance. You will curse my name, deject me for my beliefs and misjudgements. You will hate me as I have hated you. And for that, I will be eternally grateful.
What am I?
I am a monster. I've lived thousands of years, hunting and being hunted. I will live forever in the minds of you humans, you weak, impressionable beings destined for death and ridicule. Those times that my defenses are down, those few, important moments that one of you makes an impact on my being, that is when I hate you the most. Moments when humanity triumphs over monstrosity, and I am left in awe of that which destroyed me. I have learned to love, and have had that love ripped away. I have learned to understand, only to have it thrown in my face. It is for this reason, this fickle nature, that I hold humanity so dear, and why I hate it so very, very much.
It is because it will never be for me what it is for everone else. My world has an entirely different meaning, and because of that, we are not the same.

That's a short fanfic-styled rant from the perspective of Alucard (Hellsing) that I wrote.
